New document management solution for the Clipper Group

Clipper is a world-leading shipping company. It has been seeking an application to centralize their documents and make them available to maintain necessary knowledge sharing amongst the company's employees. The demand was made that the system be based upon Lotus Notes, with the possibility to manage security at a global level as well as individually at silo and document level.

On the basis of these demands and with the international aspect in mind, Clipper selected i-Seven to find a solution. Namely, a Lotus Notes solution that must be available and usable on both sides of the Atlantic ocean.

The solution was built and developed upon i-Seven's i-DocStore product, a document management solution that can contain all the company's documents and which can be used individually as well as at organizational level.

With this tool from i-Seven, Clipper has gained complete control over their documents and document management processes. This also means that Clipper has centralized their information and made it available to the relevant participants and user groups.

With this new solution from i-Seven, Clipper has been able to implement a solution in various countries and thereby manage their documentation at international level.
