The system is integrated to Notes Mail and Calendar. This means that activities not only appear in i-Support, but also can appear in the responsible's Calendar/To-Do list. emails can be sent directly from i-Support and emails received in your Notes Mail database can be archived in i-Support. That again means, that all correspondence and development on a task can be kept alongside the task itself. You can even create a new task based on an email you received. There is also built-in integration to MS Office documents and templates, so correspondence to external vendors or other contacts can be kept with the task. Furthermore, using the Lotus Notes platform you have the possibility of using some of the built-in Notes strengths such as: Full text searches (including MS Office documents) Replication Off-line support Document workflow Security Language i-Support is available in English and Danish. Limitations Helpdesk/Support workers can use a Notes client to maintain and follow-up on their tasks. Web access is only available for users that want to monitor the progress of their own tasks.
